Bruce P. Boland, 65, of Enfield, CT, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 27, 2018. Bruce was born and raised in Manchester, CT. Bruce adored his 7 grandchildren, Abigail Ceste, Caleb Vose, Braiden Alaimo, Mattingly Alaimo, Lily Wilkins, Ricky Williams, III, and Jett Williams. Bruce is survived by his sister Mary Hewitt of Manchester, his twin brother Douglas Boland of Manchester, and Timothy Boland Sr., of Vernon. He is predeceased by his two brothers Paul Boland and Gary Boland. Bruce will be missed by his many nieces and nephews who frequently checked in on him and visited him during his battle with cancer. Bruce drove trucks for over 40 years for various companies making many friends over those years. He recently retired, but only part time because he had a strong work ethic and had to keep busy. He also enjoyed hanging out at his nephew, Andrew Hewitt’s body shop. His all time favorite was taking many fishing trips to VT with his in-laws. Most frequently, his favorite place was fishing with John Langtange on the Connecticut River in his “Bass Master” boat named Mattie May and Lily Too. Many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses who took amazing are of Bruce; Carla, Kim, Brook, Kristina, Joy, Melissa and Doctor R, to name a few.
