The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Alsing can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Jamie Kropf
Condolence: Dear Susan,
My condolences for your mother's death. I just noticed her obituary while doing an online search. My mother, Patricia, a daughter of Alvin Forler, and your mother were first cousins. I know that some of my aunts and uncles would be interested in attending the memorial service that you are planning for this summer in Goderich. They have fond memories of the Bettger family. They are getting on in years, but would like to see some of your family again. I will see if any of them are able to attend the memorial service. Can you please let me know when and where it will be.
Sincerely, Jamie Kropf

Condolence From: Sandi and Steven Swerdloff
Condolence: Dear Susan,
We all wish we could be with you and your family at this time to give you all heartfelt hugs. We all adored Mary and marveled at all that she did well into her 90s. She set an example not only for your family, but for ours as well. Steven and I will always remember the way she played the piano at her 100th birthday party and entertained everyone with her beautiful voice. She taught me the importance of baking from scratch and her recipes will long be remembered.
She was a lady in the truest sense of the word and we are all better off because she was a part of our lives.

May her memory be for a blessing.

With love,
Sandi and Steven and family
